To measure the charge of lead-acid storage batteries by measuring specific gravity of the electrolyte. Hydrometer float calibrated for specific gravity. 1.100-1.350 range with coloured zones. The float is contained in a glass tube fitted with a rubber nozzle and a flexible rubber bulb.
Our range of Laboratory grade hydrometers are suitable for a wide variety of purposes. Body fabricated out of borosilicate glass they are ideal for use as range finders in laboratories, or in general use. They offer the following features :
Clear, easy to read double scales
A choice of density or specific gravity scales.
Density Scales (g/ml) calibrated at 20°C.
Calibrated for low surface tension below 1.000 and medium surface tension above 1.000.
Calibrated for reading at the horizontal surface of the liquid.

A glass tube of 6mm bore is enclosed in an enameled and lacquered brass case, mounted on a polished wooden board with plates for fixing on wall. Open plate reflectors, ring and screws for vertical adjustments. A dual scale graduated in 25 to 32 inches and 640 to 810mm is read by verniers moving by rack and pinion, reading to 0.002 inch and 0.1mm are enclosed in a glass cylinder. A glass cistern at the lower end of barometer is provided with an ivory point to adjust the level of mercury. A thermometer -10 to 50°C is provided on the wooden board. Supplied without mercury and glass case.
Demonstration type, fully enclosed in a transparent synthetic case for demonstration. 100 mm coated dial reads from 28 to 32 inches and 950 to 1040 millibars, air tight sealed all around, pressure rubber bulb provided to force the movements, for educative demonstration.
Made out of thick copper. It has a 125 mm funnel, an inner receiving vessel and an outer body all of copper, and a glass measuring cylinder graduated 0 to 10 mm x 0.1 mm (100 divisions.) complete with Rain measure.
Designed to produce maximum torque relative to its moment of inertia as for a given change in wind direction, it is rotated with the minimum of friction and is balanced to avoid bias towards any particular direction. Balanced vane with bearing mounted on steel pivot pillar terminates in 2.5 cm. BSP (Male) thread. Complete with locking nut, fitted with four arms with N.E.W.S. Overall size 40x40x40 cm. (Approx), All parts can easily be assembled for use.
The portable anemometer provides fast, accurate readings, with digital readability . DATA HOLD function for stored the desired and value on display. Large LCD display, easy to read. Multi-functions for air flow measurement (m/s, km/h, ft/min, knots) A sensitive balanced vane wheel rotates freely in response to air flow.
