Base : Heavy casted aluminium base with 170mm diameter scale, divided 0 to 360º x 1º, independently rotatable with locking screws, a spring-loaded vernier scale attached to the telescope mount allows readings to 0.1° (6 minutes of arc)
Collimator : Mounted on a fixed pillar with axis adjustment, objective lens is carried in a spiral focusing system, and unilaterally adjustable slit.
Telescope mounted on moveable pillar with fine adjustment, locking screw, and axis adjustment, objective lens is carried in a spiral focusing system. Ramsden eyepiece and locking ring focus adjustment.
Supplied in a cardboard box with prism table, with three knurled screws, prism clamp, grating holder, setting up instructions. |
